HOW TO COOK BAKED FLOUNDER

Baked Flounder
Ingredients To Cook Baked Flounder
1 lg. flounder
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 stick butter, melted
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Parsley
Lemon wedges
Step 1 To Cook Baked Flounder
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 2 To Cook Baked Flounder
Place flounder on oiled baking sheet.
Step 3 To Cook Baked Flounder
Brush rest of oil on top (black side).
Step 4 To Cook Baked Flounder
Bake 5 to 10 minutes, or until black skin pops and bubbles.
Step 5 To Cook Baked Flounder
Remove from oven. Lower heat to 350 degrees.
Step 6 To Cook Baked Flounder
Carefully remove all black skin and discard. Baste fish with melted butter, lemon and garlic salt mixture.
Step 7 To Cook Baked Flounder
Return to slower oven for 5 to 10 minutes more, basting occasionally.
Step 8 To Cook Baked Flounder
Remove to heated platter.
Step 9 To Cook Baked Flounder
Pour remaining butter over fish. Sprinkle with parsley and decorate with lemon.
